Could THIS be the prime market to sell your home?

Inventory is at historic low levels and buyers are feeling anxious. In an article last month, we pointed out inventory is down by about 50%. Take Evergreen as an example, at the end of February, there were 169 homes on the market while this time last year, there were 339 homes on the market. In the Denver Metro region, it is common to have approximately 17,000 homes on the market. Right now, there are approximately 7,580 homes on the market.  For those of you who have been waiting for the opportune time to sell your home — the time is NOW.

Based on the Monthly Economic Summary from Metro Denver, there was a 16.7 percent increase in home sales from 2012 to 2013, which pushed the average home sales price up by 9.4 percent for the same time span. The market trend for 2014 shows very few homes on the market.
