After struggling with a vacant rental property for several months and having it on the market multiple times, I decided to give up and do a short sale. Jon took his time to explain the process thoroughly and was very patient with my endless questions. Within a week of putting the house on the market, we had 8 offers and were expected to close within a month.
Unfortunately, we hit a roadblock with the bank and the process dragged on for months. During this time, I moved my family to Alaska, which complicated things further. I was ready to just give up and let the house foreclose, but Jon and his team kept on top of the banks and sent me weekly updates. When everything seemed hopeless due to an impending foreclosure, a new FEMA flag on the house due to the Colorado flooding, and the government shutdown, Jon and his team pulled it off. They were able to get the bank to cooperate, and we closed the day before Thanksgiving.
During this whole time, I felt that Jon really cared about my situation. I knew he was working very hard on my case, even though it was a dinky little house and smaller commission than I’m sure he was used to. I would recommend Jon to anyone who wants to work with a smart team who knows the process inside and out and will work extremely hard to make it happen, no matter the circumstances!
