Jon founded ALARIS Properties, LLC to meet the needs of buyers, sellers and investors by providing the most comprehensive programs available today. Formerly a member of the executive team of LHD Enterprises where Jon oversaw several departmental functions, including management of the Colorado region and head of the entrepreneurial group, while handling all legal affairs for the company’s Colorado, New England and Upstate New York offices. In addition, Jon served as President of Venture Partners LLC, a business incubator and accelerator. In his role as President, Jon consulted with start-up businesses concerning formation and financial issues.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude (Valedictorian) from Phillips University with a quadruple major in English, History, Political Science and Psychology with a minor in German, he later earned his juris doctorate from the prestigious Northwestern School of Law. While attending college, he involved himself in politics and worked as a speech writer and campaign manager for a candidate of the House of Representatives. Additionally, Jon had the opportunity to write speeches for other high profile political figures. Jon became a partner in a law firm emphasizing business law, business litigation, domestic relations and employment law. Jon also served as general counsel to several businesses, including a large computer outsourcing and software firm. Jon has assisted several clients in contract negotiations for RFPs. He developed an expertise in converting corporations to LLCs.
Jon has represented real estate firms (commercial and residential), two mortgage brokerages, retail stores, trucking companies, a fragrance company and a large furniture store. Jon has a keen ability to analyze complex situations and come up with creative solutions. Building on his talent, Jon became a licensed real estate broker and assists clients using his core values of integrity, honesty, forthrightness, trustworthiness, loyalty and valor. Jon has become a professional problem solver, and believes that service through humility produces mutual reward.
Kendall is rare Colorado native and knows the metropolitan area like the back of her hand. As a result, she is adept at finding properties and knowing the best-kept secrets in terms of neighborhoods and communities. Further, she has an amazing ability to market property as well as help clients find the perfect home. On our team, she is in charge of searching for properties and crafting niche marketing plans. Today, all real marketing plans include an Internet strategy, and Kendall knows how to put the Internet to work for you.
She grew up in the foothills as part of a hardworking family. Kendall’s mom is a master gardener and her father is a landscaper. They taught her how to make the most of outdoor spaces. Her father also rebuilt their fire-damaged home when she was a child. All of these experiences imbedded in her the importance of creating a “home”. She believes in keeping her core values close to heart and applying them to all she does. Because of those values and a strong work ethic, earning the trust of her clients and working hard for them comes naturally. She specializes in finding great homes for her clients by listening carefully to their wants and needs, and then setting her standards high. In this way, she has learned to exceed her client’s expectations. Kendall understands that when it comes to buying or selling real estate, it’s much more than a transaction, it’s about a new chapter in someone’s life. She takes the worry out of this process by providing exceptional attention to detail, oftentimes, simplifying the process with her dedication to “giving it all she’s got”.
Kendall began pursuing her passion in real estate by learning the ins and outs of real estate transactions by assisting Jon Terry, a top producing agent. One of her core values is to help others and this is clearly reflected by her tenacity throughout the real estate transaction process. She loves educating and communicating with her clients so that they can more easily understand what is happening each step of the way. Kendall teaches classes to first time home buyers and feels honored when clients and other Realtors® refer or call on her knowledge. Kendall is passionate about recycling and sustainability and has the National Association of Realtors® Green Realtor® designation. Stephanie (Stu) Avery
Stephanie (Stu) Avery brings to Alaris Properties a very unique combination of skill sets and talents, unlike anyone else on the team. She has a decade of experience in multi-family property administration in the Denver Metro Area. She currently oversees a portfolio of 14 buildings comprising 393 apartments/condos, overseeing a staff of eight leasing specialists and maintenance technicians. Stu has a strong project management background, including budgeting, contract management, and design. She has joined the Alaris team to develop her real estate acquisition skills, especially in the multi-family sector. Stu is a member of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors® and is also very active in the Apartment Association of Metro Denver. She is a leader on the Joint Legislative Action Committee.
Year after year, she has been called upon to testify before the Colorado State Legislature. Further, she is a Certified Apartment Manager and a Candidate as a Certified Property Manager. Personally, Stu is a fifth generation Floridian from Jacksonville, who visited Colorado after finishing her Bachelor of Arts degree at Southern Methodist University. Stu never looked back. She lives in central Denver with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, whatever that is, she enjoys exercise, home improvements and gardening. The grass never grows under this incredible woman’s feet. The Alaris team is very grateful to learn from Stu.
Armond has lived in Colorado since 1965 and began his real estate only three years later. Since then, he has bought, sold, and held millions of dollars of real estate. He is the true test of How to Become a Millionaire in Real Estate. During his career, he successfully owned, operated and sold numerous start-up businesses. His passion and success continues to be real estate. He has taught his success to many brokers and clients, and they are successful today and thankful for the knowledge they have received from Armond. He has one daughter, Christina, who has followed in footsteps in real estate. There are many others for whom he represents the “pen-ultimate” mentor and advisor.
