Colorado Home Resale Prices Surpassing Old Records

Jun 5, 2014

Two national reports in the last several weeks report that Colorado and metro Denver home resale prices eclipsed previous record highs.

CoreLogic’s April report, the latest data available, shows home prices in the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood area jumping 9.5 percent above the April 2013 level. The home price index level also increased 2.2 percent from March.

Colorado was one of eight states that surpassed their previous home price peaks, and this is the third month in a row that CoreLogic has reported record high-level home sale prices in the state.
