Local Luxury Series: Handcrafted Art For The Home

Jun 20, 2016

Creating a home out of a house can sometimes be a little tricky and overwhelming. Adding art that fits your personality can cozy up any space. Here in Colorado, we are surrounded by artists of all kinds that can add that special feeling, while bringing a local touch.

Brian Harig

Brian Harig is a fine art landscape photographer shooting across the United States, including Colorado. In addition to his artistic talent, Haring impresses by donating over 20% of his annual profits to various conservation charities.

Rande Price Brewer

Brewer is an award winning artist working primarily in acrylic paint. She has lived and painted in Glenwood Springs for more than 18 years and favors realism, impressionism, and abstract work.

Michael B Askew

Askew studies the history and culture of his subjects to inform his shooting process. His medium is traditional and handcrafted platinum/palladium prints and uses contrast and light to his great advantage.

Kurt Isgreen

Isgreen works in watercolors to deliver works of art in patterns, color, and light. His impressions are inspired by Western Colorado where he has lived and painted for more than 30 years.

Heather Davis

Davis has lived in Eagle, Colorado since 1975. Her work, mainly in oil paint, is inspired by wide-range travels, hiking, skiing, and gardening.

Shawn Huckins

Huckins lives and works in Denver, Colorado. The Paint Chip Series explores color choice and its meaning in our daily lives from the home improvement store to our kitchens and bedrooms.

Judy Rogan

Rogan works with acrylics to create vibrant, fun-loving impressions of the “stuff of life” that makes her smile. She was recently honored with the winning painting called “Tipsy Trails” for the Colorado Mountain Winefest poster.
