Aspen and Vail might be thought of as some of the most expensive home markets in Colorado, however, according to a recent analysis, Boulder is at the top of the list.
Aspen actually didn’t even make the list because the study considered what it would cost to buy a four-bedroom, two-bath house. Neither Aspen nor Vail had enough of those for sale to be included. The study looked at cities where at least 10 of those types of homes were for sale between January and June.
That left Boulder as the most expensive market, with the average listing price for such a home at $835,516. Castle Rock was second, at $750,840.
