Thank you to everyone who attended our Open House in the Genesee Town Center on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Even though it snowed heavily and the fog was very thick, we had an excellent turn out. Through all the excitement of the Open House, we promised to write an article telling everyone what we are doing in Genesee or what I like to call the Gateway to the Rockies or Where Denver Meets the Mountains.
We have built a concept office like none other. When you walk into our office, you walk into a beautifully appointed mountain home living room that opens into a comfortable study where one would enjoy reading a book. Instead of having a conference room, we have a dining room. Of course, we use our dining room for meetings as well.
You can walk down the hall to see our designer kitchen. Well, you will be able to do so once we finish the installation. The whole point is that we have created this concept office where you can get design ideas, learn how to do remodeling projects for your home, and see the latest in style and design as provided by our interior designers and home stagers, known as Staging Denver.
Here is the interesting twist … we are changing many of our furnishings, artwork and style once a quarter. You will be formally invited to see what our “home” look like each time we change the décor. Of course, you are invited to stop in anytime you would like. We are open for business and growing.
Our offices will always look fresh, be inviting, and provide a showroom for our clients and customers to see how they might increase their property values. That is the whole point. We are an innovative real estate company and we looking forward to helping you with all your real estate needs.
We are also going to partner with cabinetmakers and/or kitchen remodelers so that we can reface our cabinets and remodel our kitchen from time to time. This will not happen every quarter; however, we envision this happening once a year. We will even partner with a painting company to add special treatments to our walls as we move along.
All of this provides us with the opportunity to create a win/win environment. Our clients and customers win because you get to see terrific style, design and remodeling ideas. Our partners win because they get to showcase their abilities and products to you.
Watch our website because we are going to be posting videos, so-called “vlogs” (blogs in which the postings are primarily in video form) about what we are doing. In some ways, it will be like a type of “HGTV-reality show” that you can come see anytime you want.
As you might imagine, we are doing this with a great deal of intentionality. At Alaris Properties, we are invested in foothills and mountains where we live and work. We want to serve you as your go-to real estate office while promoting other wonderful companies.
In fact, when you visit us, you should have lunch or dinner at the Hideaway restaurant. Their new menu is excellent, and their servers are very attentive. You can also have a snack, cup coffee or an espresso at the Buffalo Moon coffee house. Moreover, you cannot beat Guido’s pizza. I take home a lot of their pizzas.
There is also a cleaners, Genesee Cleaners, a full-service hair salon, a wonderful day-spa known as Zoe’s, the Genesee Country Store and a liquor store. You will love the homemade fudge at the Country Store. There is even a full-service gym, known as Genesee Mountain Fitness, where you can workout or enjoy a yoga or Pilates class. Many already know about the event center known as Christie’s of Genesee. I am delighted to promote all these wonderful companies. Having just moved in, I have probably even missed one or two of the companies that are in the Genesee Town Center. If so, it was not intentional.
