Recovered from the Recession

Every year, the commercial real estate arm of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC ranks the best markets in the country for commercial real estate, and this year Denver came out on top.

Denver was in the top 10 in last year’s ranking, but jumped up to No. 1 because of job growth, construction and economic expansion, particularly in energy, technology and health care.

“Denver has recovered from the Great Recession and moved into expansion mode with positive market absorption in every market segment,” said Ben Gilliam, managing principal of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance Denver.

Immediately following Denver in the ranking were San Francisco, Houston and Dallas.

At Alaris, we are seeing signs of the recovery. As we work with buyers to help them find their dream home, with almost every offer, we are competing with multiple buyers. In a couple instances, we competed with more than 10 offers, and this has been happening in several areas through metro Denver.
