Fastest Growing Cities: Denver Ranks 6th

Forbes is out with its latest annual ranking of the nation’s 20 fastest growing cities in terms of population and economic growth – and Denver has jumped higher on the list. Metro Denver ranks No. 6 in Forbes’ 2014 estimation, up from No. 16 on the 2013 list.

Forbes also took into account 2013 job-growth rates, growth in gross metro product (each city’s goods and services), unemployment rates and median salaries for college-educated workers in comparing the 100 largest U.S. metro areas.

Denver moved up 10 places after just one year. Check out the difference.
