January numbers support what the real estate professionals have been predicting regarding the 2013 housing market. Take a look at these encouraging statistics.

Prices are back up to pre-recession levels.

The number of homes available for sale in metro Denver dropped to the lowest level for a January we’ve seen in 23 years.

The time it takes to sell a home has continued to decline as the days on the market dropped to an average of 78, which is 25 percent shorter than the 104 day average posted in January 2012.

The weekly sales rate is at 14.43 homes, which is the highest rate on record since 1990.
