Sales of luxury homes in the Denver metro area increased by 46 percent year-over-year in February.
A total of 63 luxury homes were sold in February, up from 43 homes in February 2014. Luxury home transactions were also up from January, when 49 such homes were sold.
The median price of a luxury home in February was $1.39 million, up 2.6 percent from the previous year, when the median price was $1.26 million.
Luxury homes spent an average of 123 days on the market, up from 117 days the previous year, and sellers received an average of 95 percent of their asking price, the same as the previous year.
These statistics are encouraging as we head into the spring home-buying season.
